Site Move

This blog was originally started on Blogger just over month ago, as a quick solution to finding a new home for posts after the demise of Google+. Moving from one Google product to another probably wasn’t the best long term choice, but it was an easy one to get up and running quickly.

If you can read this, then I’ve now successfully migrated that content to a self-hosted WordPress site, which hopefully provides me with a lot more control over things, and means I’m not dependent on something which has a risk of vanishing due to the whims of Google.

If everything works, then all the old URLs should still work – they just point at the new site. If some old content looks a bit skew-whiff, then this is due to an unfortunate side effect of the migration process.

Hopefully though, nobody will notice a difference, other than the change in look and feel.
