2021 was another year of online gaming, mostly continuing what we’d been doing before.

A look back at my first introduction to roleplaying games in the 1980s. We started with Fighting Fantasy-like games inspired by Doctor Who, then spent most of the rest of the decade playing Dungeons & Dragons. It took most of the decade to really settle into the hobby, but I was a teenager for most of it.
