Clearing up after killing Viorian Dekanti, the party continue to fight another couple of waves of enemies, eventually encountering Khalib, the apprentice of Karzoug.

In this session, there is another assault on the Pinnacle of Avarice. Two characters are almost killed, and they encounter Viorian Dekanti the Champion of Greed, along with the sword of sin that wields her.

Fighting further into the Pinnacle of Avarice, the party are hit by a ninth level spell that causes them to re-evaluate their desire to remain.

The party continues to storm the Pinnacle of Avarice, taking down another Rune Giant, as well as several lesser giants, and encounter a spell-casting yeti.

The party reaches the Spires of Xin-Shalast, and enters the Pinnacle of Avarice, where they meet the giants guarding the front door and a dramatic battle is fought.

Before they finally decide to start climbing the mountain, the party returns to the lower parts of Xin-Shalast to find that the giants have had a disagreement amongst themselves, and the trap set by Khalib isn’t quite what was expected.

In the ongoing saga of Rise of the Runelords, the party of heroes are particularly heroic in their defeat of the blue dragon Ghlorofaex.

The party manage to avoid an ambush through luck, decide not to rescue a Succubus, murder some ropers that just want to talk, and finally do talk to a Lamia that provides some useful information.

Having defeated the ice devil, the party decides to head up to the fortress of Shahlaria to take on the Rune Giants up there. This could turn out to be quite a dangerous fight, since a couple of rune giants plus a dozen or so cloud and storm giants could be more than the group can handle.
